WELCOME TO OUR FARM

We offer pork and beef raised with no antibiotics or hormones, from animals fed only forages and grains. We are a family farm, located in northwest Wisconsin, who believes that pasture raised animals yield the highest quality protein. It also gives you the peace of mind that you always know where your food comes from and how it was raised. All our meat is grown, harvested, and processed in our own facility. This ensures we control the entire process from start to finish, to ensure a quality product from our farm to your table.

WHERE DO WE

GET OUR BEEF?

We raise our beef from our family farm in Western Wsconsin with feed from local sources. This includes hay, corn, mineral and protein. The ration is balanced for optimal growth without using hormones or antibiotics. Our cattle are raised on pasture and free to move around as they like. When we don’t have any cattle ready, we source from local farmers that raise them just as well as we do.

WHERE DO WE

GET OUR PORK?

All our pork comes from pigs that are born and raised on our farm. Our piglets are nursed by their mother before being weaned. When they are big enough, they are moved to one of our pastures. They are never in cages or on concrete. This gives them space to run, dig, roll, root, relax, and to just be pigs. Their happiness and well-being gives them a quality of life that is reflected in the quality of the meat you receive.

IS OUR MEAT ORGANIC?

Although we cannot sell our meat as organic, we can call it All-Natural, Hormone Free, Antibiotic Free, and Pasture Raised. Our animals are fed a soy free diet and we never use any grain distillers or animal by-products in our feed. We ask you to give it a try and see for yourself. We believe it doesn’t have to be high-priced organic to be high quality.

GRAIN-FED VS GRASS-FED

In the time since grass-fed beef became a trend, it claims that grass-fed beef is healthier for consumers. While this debate continues, most experts now say that although grass-fed may have a very slight edge on grain-fed (in terms of health) that the difference is insignificant, hardly worth mentioning and definitely not worth the price. We have found that living in the extreme temperatures of Wisconsin, our cattle stay healthier when we give them grain. Many of our customers also claim that grain-fed cattle taste better.
